Discourse is becoming a lot more popular. it’s springing up all over the place. I’m not surprised to see OTG joining the ever growing list of users. It does take some getting used to after VBulletin but for those used to Gmail, it uses a similar system of tags to sort everything. Once I got used to the tag system in Gmail, I couldn’t live without it!

After poking around for a few days, I’m glad we switched … sure, there’s a learning curve … but it seems like it’ll be easier to use in the long run…

I’ve been getting used to discourse on various sites and the more I use it the more I find it is superior to vb.

My most favourite part is at the top where I can finally check out the Latest and Top posts again (and it feels more natural). I love being able to keep in touch with the latest and greatest happenings of my favourite group of online people. Seriously, that whole row is extremely useful.

And my second favourite part is that heart in the lower right corner! Go ahead and click it!

OMG still trying to get Discord Voice to work…I apparently didn’t understand the model and set it up with two accounts, and like most engineer-driven apps, if I thought diff than them, I am in trouble…working on it though! (I figure I can joke about that since it was my field…).

In any case, looking forward to getting into the new channels and playing
