meh, I was looking forward to trying to get out of the situation we got into in the “simulation”
but we have plenty to worry about now still, so lets roll.
2-3 weeks for level 5 and end of the module!
I thought this too originally, but upon reflection I think we were well and truly screwed. We had not even made it into the central processing or whatever for the cell block before the alarm was raised. We would have to fight our way to the cells and then find all the prisoners, allowing more time for more enemies to converge on us. I imagine we would have been trying to fight the entire staff of the base just trying to get out.
We’re a little better off this time, but not by much.
we are definitely better off, no question. And our survival was slim from the sounds of it. I am in no hurry to throw Vash away, but the challenge could have been fun.

The problems we were having last night were because of an extension that I/we are using that autosorts the player inventory (bubbles consumables to the top) and automagically reloaded weapons (that used ammo/batteries).
Looks like it was actually never fully compatible with FGU but finally broke last night. I don’t think it’s going to be updated/fixed.
So going forward:
- autosort inventory, no big deal that it’s missing
- auto reloading empty guns, y’all with have to do that manually, i.e. decrement available battery/ammo from inventory yourself and then manually set the number of available ammo on the actions tab
I know that today, on my birthday, Rando is totally not gonna kill us (or at least me) because he doesn’t want to cause me to stroke out when if he kills one of my most favorite characters I have ever played in ttrpg’s.
I don’t want to kill the party.
I’ve even planned a new escape route through the super confining tunnel network that riddles the crust of Gulta.

Prep level 5, don’t think we’ll finish tomorrow, but maybe…
I dropped a cup of coffee on my mouse/mouse-pad tonight. The mouse is hosed. I’ll see if I can pick up anything in town tomorrow.
So, yes, prep level 5 for next week and the end of the module and start of the thrilling concluding adventure to the Against the Aeon Throne adventure path, The Rune Drive Gambit.
Quick note for the group. I will be unable to join the April 3 session. I don’t anticipate any other schedule conflicts for this month and next.
As it turns out, I will actually have to cancel for this Saturday night also unfortunately. Apologies for the late notice. I’m fine with somebody else controlling Syggy.
