I know of a “manage shares” button. That allows you to go to a friend’s territory and “trade” copy items that you’ve obtained to their territory. I’m unsure if that’s what you saw, but if there’s another button, perhaps you can share your blueprints. That would be cool.
What seems to be the fastest way to start? Do you go out and start gathering food stuffs to process and sell? Do you start doing MSQ and SQ’s while gathering to build the base? And once you have your base, do you territory hop until you find your final resting spot, or do you stay in one place? I hopped twice this last time. It was hard to locate that proper high spot in the hills. I think I have one now. OH! And one more thing, are we going to try and get onto the same world before we build our base? I has questions…
I’m not claiming to be the optimal player or anything but I make the most basic base with some storage and the logging and mining deviants and basic benches/furnace/stove to start accumulating stuff then go out and explore/gather other mats until I can make a real base. Usually with a preset house blueprint cause I suck at designing stuff lol
This is my “barely there” starter base on the new server. Just up the road from the first NPC town for convenience.
Oh and once you set up a deviant to mine, log, gather, whatever they keep going even when you logout which is awesome. When I first got the logging deviant and logged out for the day I logged in the next day and had over 500 lumber waiting for me. Woot!

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t they make changes where you have to have an invite to the older servers?
I thought I saw the server number as 5?
Yes and no. If a server is full you can invite people. But the server also closes after 10? 20? days. Some arbitrary time to prevent people “being behind” on I assume PvP servers, since for PvE it makes no sense.
If it works to invite someone when the server is closed, we don’t know, since our current server doesn’t have enough people to be full, which is a prerequisite for being able to use the invite.

Guess I will just get on one of the newest servers I can so I am basically able to start from the beginning.
If you like i can try to send you my invite code when i get home from work and see if you can get on. You can still start from the beginning… there will just be people farther along in the story. Or you can wait til this server ends its season and we all move to a new one.
I’ll wait. Things are probably going to be picking up irl here soon.

I may come back to it later, but right now I’ve got a loaded plate, and the D4 expansion looks really good…soooo, I do want to come back to play, I just wish the seasons lasted longer. Time invested versus reward really gets me with this game. I’ve been watching the streamer RoyalWithCheeseTV and this guy and his wife really put the time in and always have great looking bases. The time it takes them to build is minutes compared to me and my building. By the time I get close to what I want, the season is over. I guess that’s my rant.

Hi Everyone! Happy to step in for RanterX at this time. Looks like we still have a few guildies playing haha! If you saw my post in Discord you’ll know this already, but in case you didn’t:
When the new Season opens on Oct 17 we will be moving to one of the Way of Winter servers so we can all experience the new scenario. Bring plenty of blankets and jackets… looks like it’s going to be a cold one! They haven’t announced server numbers/names yet so I’ll post here and in Discord when we know what server we’ll be joining. If anyone has a preference, be sure to let us know!
There’s also some useful (or at least enticing) info on the new scenario up on the Once Human website so we can get a small glimpse at what’s to come, which RanterX has linked above.
There’s an event going on for the new Way of Winter scenario (though the servers for this scenario aren’t open yet). If anyone wants to team up for this event (it only involves pre-signing up for the scenario, teaming up, logging in, and playing the game mainly) just let me know, or feel free to team up in other teams. Looks like 5 people per “team up”. The rewards can be collected in game once the season starts.
