Ok I could not help but notice that there is no way we can use our membership history to prove how long we have been guild members. I bring this up because the policy for inguild chapters who recruit from inside the guild has always been using the our start date as proof we are guildies. Seems we are going to need a new policy.
We still have your original join date on vBulletin.
It will solve itself. As Cef says, we have the original vbulletin even when it goes to archive format, and if you didn’t join there, you joined here, which we also have a record of.

This is a good point, though. Will we be able to distinguish members from registered users from their profile or name color or something?
The profile pop-up lists their status Member, Leader, etc. If it’s empty, they are just registered users and their name color IN POSTS is gray.

I never did get my dark blue 10 year coloring on the old forums. 
Though I didn’t ask for it to be updated either, hehe.
Anyway, at least as far as posts are concerned looks like we already have the same formatting as before. Admins red, mods green, leaders orange, officers yellow members blue. So at least from that end that looks like it will be as easy to tell at a glance as before.
That was yet another PITA thing about vB…just trying to do a simple query.

I have been a guild member since 2006…I’m so oooldd!!! Can I get a 10 year member badge too pretty please? /shameless
I stated my age as 25 ++ when I first joined on 07-07-2011 however it wasn’t long before I changed it to 21 and have done so every year since. I suggest a new badge for longest running 21 year old, for 8 years now.
