I found my mistake, use the budget long range sensor instead of basic. I read the wrong Stat block for that item.
As for the discussion above about the module/combat etc. My issues really is with the operative, I feel locked into a trick attack every turn and nothing else is as effective. When we change modules it’s possible Vash might just take the ship and run, leaving you to find a new pilot/ship. Which I will coincidentally have built already.
I have a willpower challenge for @Rando…see how far you can make it through the first season of the show Invasion on AppleTV. It is described as a slow burner sci-fi show. I am on episode 4 and slow burner in this case is best represented as trying to melt an iceberg with a wet book of matches.
@Ryuken take a look at adding Above and Below as a feat. It is something i planned to take with the soldier, and has a good bonus for multiple melee’s to have it. Also, I think I have decided to stay small and go with a Skittermander instead of a Kasatha. I wasn’t originally considering it, but after looking at melee weapons I think i want to use a Skitterstaff, and who better to use a Skitterstaff than a Skittermander. And it means that anything from small to large can be the target of Above and Below.
Good suggestion, but damage really isn’t my problem so much as actually hitting stuff. And I can’t do much to improve my ability to hit stuff at this point given the (seemingly) cursed dice roller in Fantasy Grounds. Zabraxas already has a damage bonus with the Entropic Strike of +20, which is more than the max I can roll with the damage dice hehe, I do 3d6+20 damage now with Entropic Strike…by lvl 12 I will do 4d6+20 damage and then it’s one more damage dice per level after that. That is definitely a good feat suggestion as about the only other feat I really want is Cleave. I was not even aware of that feat. It would also be a lot better if someone else had Above and Below too.
That is my point - my soldier will have it. So we can flank without actually being on opposite sides of the target, also meaning that I wont get caught in the blast of your attack.
And I just looked up that feat, and I’ll pass on it for Rodimus. I have no intention of being up front and the few times it might happen is not worth it to spend the feat for it. At least not right now. And since he will be Medium size it probably wouldn’t have the same impact.
Yes, at lvl 13 I get the ability to add Blast to my Entropic Strike by spending 2 Entropy Points. It’s something I’ll be doing infrequently most likely as I won’t be blowing 2 Entropy Points on it all the time.
If we brought some of that math into the game where my height mattered I would get hit a lot less. But on the other hand, sessions would be even slower.
