Ohhhhh no you don’t. Dragonkin got Tight Fit so you keep your lard-covered hands to yourself!
Well now we just carry it along to cook things in so we have something to fill the stomach of said Majestic and Mighty Dragonkin… why waste the credits we spent on the 10 containers…
Wait a sec, you’re saying y’all are supposed to be cooking for me?! Well get to it, I have yet to see any of these fried meals you’re supposed to be cooking!
Mmm… crushed succulent paste.
Mmm… jellied skin fungus.
Mmm… fermented meat honey.
Well we only have room for the barrel of lard… We are just waiting for one of our opponents to be fit to be fed to the Majestic and Mighty Dragonkin, otherwise we would need more then one new person in the party to carry all the other needed ingredients. The Dragon lard won out as it had two uses up until a couple days ago when you retconned your feats.
No
NO
and
NOOOO
I am certain none of those THINGS (I don’t even consider those things food) are fried.
And who in their right mind would consume such horrible tasting culinary atrocities?!
if carnivals, county fairs, and the internet have taught me anything, it is that ANYTHING can be fried.
Man damn damn damn I kinda wish I had not invested so much in Starfinder stuff for Fantasy Grounds because I am liking Hero Lab Online (HLO) a lot more for Paizo stuff…the Paizo content integration for HLO is waaaay smoother than in FG.
Edit
Well let me offset that a bit by saying that HLO does not have as much interactivity and such that FG has, seems to be sorely lacking in things like dynamic lighting and such
Yeah, I’ve been assiduously avoiding every media representation of Foundry I’ve come across. I’ve sunk so much into FG that I’m unfortunately wedded to it now.
I saw this the other day on Steam and was like what-the-shit (in a good way)! Running that in the foreground, with Hero Lab in the back? Fuggedaboutit.
Wait a sec…
What if we used Fantasy Grounds for the data, i.e. character sheets, party sheet, stats, treasure parcels, combat tracker etc, but then used Tale Spire for the “maps” and tokens and shit?!?!?
a) dual monitors or alt-tab; yet-another-piece-of-software to run
b) everyone would have to pony up their own $30 for the software
[Edit] I bought it!
I have Tale Spire on my Steam Wishlist. The drawback I am seeing so far is that everyone has to have a paid version of it to participate, not just the GM.
Edit which you already mentioned in your b) comment, but my brain is sluggish enough yet that I blanked on that.
I am planning on getting Tale Spire myself soon anyhow.
Talespire looks amazing. It’s going to be at least a few more weeks before I’ve decided what to buy for a new computer though. Waiting to see what if anything gets announced at WWDC. I won’t be able to join in such a game before then.
Personally, I don’t feel like I need the automation that FG provides but I can understand the GM and possibly other players having a different opinion.
I’m also happy just sticking with FG
As a Vanguard, I’m not feeling the total automation hehe.
Man, this is a bit of a bummer. I was browsing through the Cybernetics augments, and then all the augmentations and there is really nothing interesting to get to replace my hand other than a normal prosthetic limb.
Looks like we’ve filled @ocelot’s departing seat! Everyone welcome @Schplam if and/or when he sees this!
Talespire looks great. I seriously considered buying in when it was a kickstarter but passed. I do a lot of 3D modeling, and I think you would put a whole lot of time into them; even if the pieces are premade and just stick together. Don’t get me wrong, I would luv a campaign like that, but you have been complaining about the time 2D maps take. I would also suggest finding out what size map you can really create. Talespire appears to be for much smaller maps that we have been dealing with, though I could be wrong with that impression. From the videos I’ve watch, they don’t seem to have a huge area staked out. Granted I haven’t paid much attention since the kickstarter though.
edit: There are claims of large maps in steam reviews, so that doesn’t seem to be an issue, except for the time it would take to create it.
Congrats on finding a replacement.
Thanks Rando. I saw there is a “need” for a face, so I can pick something CHA based if that works for the party. I will check over the old postings here to see if I can find your guidelines for character creation (allowed classes/races, starting stats, etc). I’ll got look at some youtube about using fantasy ground as a noob, but I imagine its not bad for a non GM to learn.
Welcome to the group Schplam, good to have you with us.
If you want to play the faciest character possible, then the Envoy class is the way to go. I’m playing an Envoy in another Starfinder game and I am liking it a good deal. Very facey and good for group support.
Man, Zabraxas can’t even get a mundane ole prosthetic hand with a storage compartment in it because ONLY FITS SMALL OR MEDIUM SIZED CREATURES…feelin’ large size discriminated against here, only basic ass prosthetic hand for me I guess
Sure, sounds like a plan. Normally I am a selfish power gamer, but going outside my comfort zone might be a good thing for a change.
I will research Envoy and may have some questions later.
