Good grief I am ready for some Pathfinder and murder hobo-in’ tonight. Been an especially crappy day and took no small part of effort to turn my attitude around from just unhappy and pissy to a better mood and not just crawl into bed after work and not get up until tomorrow morning. But I am always looking forward to playing with y’all so that went a long way towards giving me something to look forward to tonight. :hugs:

Well while I was out walking Watson in the rain. It occurred to me that the towns people probably are going to be indifferent where the Monkey guys are concerned as nothing they have done inside the castle really affected the town itself. I would say the better course of action is to present the two of them to the Goblin tribe for trial (we have that debilitated courtroom to use and let them take what justice they can get for those of their clan that was lost to the invasion of the castle if they are not able to be redeemed from their path following Dahak. If not then the goblins can enact their justice.

So now Anna is wondering if all these undead have been hanging out since the hell knights departed or if they were created more recently. The goblins map seemed to suggest they were already there. Why would these cultists be talking to the dead here? She is determined to find out and stop their evil plans.

A thought suddenly occurs to her as she exclaims: “We forgot to check those mushroom graves!”.

I think the app is called Pathbuilder.

So I am playing around with Pathbuilder 2e and creating the build for Huulm there is an option during the creation process listed as “Monk Ki Spells Choice” and it gives the option of selecting Divine or Occult for Ki Spells. What is this and why I have I not seen it in the AoA campaign game? I never saw this anywhere in the character creation process for Huulm and I am wondering if I missed something.

Pathbiilder 2 for Android phones. Not sure if there is a version for iOS.

It’s the second paragraph in the Ki Spells sidebar near the start of the Monk section in the CRB. You can choose Divine or Occult for the tradition of your ki spells. It has almost no impact on anything, with 2 caveats: it might let you get a slight boost to spells from an archetype that uses the same tradition you picked (and in reverse, a Cloistered Cleric or Divine/Occult Sorcerer could actually become better with ki spells from a Monk archetype than a real Monk can be), and it could possibly let you use scrolls/wands of that tradition depending on what Rando rules is required to “have” have a particular spell list.

Yeah, it’s Pathbuilder 2. Requires an Android device, but you can emulate it with Bluestacks on a PC. I do all my character building on there and use it to have everything planned out.

I actually now do remember seeing that blurb about Occult or Divine Ki spells stuff when I first started looking into Monk as a class t oplay, but later I totally forgot about it.

This is all probably “wrong”, but…

Going forward, after encounters have finished I’ll give you a time guestimate on how long it should take y’all to search a room - the entire room. That way you’ll find all the appropriate quest updates, lore infoz, and ph4t l3wtz as appropriate if given enough time and you happen to hit the appropriate DCs.

Currently - as far as you know - you are not on any fixed time schedule, so if I say it’ll take 30 minutes to search this room thoroughly, some of y’all can do that and some of y’all can do other out of combat activities like re-focus and healing, and bufifng, and such.

In the future, if you are on some time schedule/limit then you’ll have to indicate what your are specifically looking at/searching.

Of course, if out of combat and some of y’all are “Searching” as your exploration mode activity, I’ll do the perception rolls in the background as needed.

I think it’s whatever key you have push-to-talk bound to, followed by vocalizing “What can be searched in here?” :stuck_out_tongue:

Interesting note about Detect Magic: at low levels, it doesn’t give you any location info; it just does “Is there magic within 30ft of me? (Yes/No)”
