So, last night played WoW and had the dubious pleasure of hearing the game sounds in with Discord. It was not pleasant to say the least. I’ll be looking to see if there is a way to fix that. I’ve got onboard sound so that may be the issue. Soon, I will find out. Oh, and Safari, check out your title Hugs, sweetie!

Taffy don’t give up we will get into channel together just you and I, then I’ll help you fix it all and bind a precious feature, the deafen key. Among many other things so that it will enhance not hinder your game time. I spent most of my awake hours yesterday learning Discord.
OMG are you the one responsible for getting my title back? I noticed it yesterday and got excited I edited the post I just posted in WoW’s suggestion box.
When you say onboard sound, do you mean speakers v’s headset? That shouldn’t matter too much, except it does sound better through a headset, but ultimately headset is just a set of speakers that sit next to your ears. But the microphone if also just attached to your webcam or pc or monitor can be a bit clunky.
The Mic can pick up and broadcast the game sounds. LoL that kind of thing would be a pestilence to listeners not the broadcaster per say. But that might be possible to fine tune a little too.
If your able to go get a budget headset, it would be a good investment. If you get an awesome budget one like turtle beach earforce el cheapo they can enhance your game. Because even their bottom end models have kick ass sound for the game. Their high end models are phenomenal.

Onboard means that I don’t have a sound card. Last night, played without having Discord on 
Silence while I played. Figure I better get on it tonight as Gingertee is at the right level to join the group. It’s to honour Ginger who I didn’t know but I love the sound of the group and I’m sure that Ginger will be laughing her butt off as we play Well, I like to think so lol

@Taff does your monitor have speakers? I have a Dell S3219D 32" monitor with built in speakers and the sound comes the the HDMI cable. I you use headset for VOIP/Discord and the monitor speakers for game sounds.

I went into advanced sound setting and set up the headset for sound in, game sounds on speaker. I still have to try it but I think I have it now. Thank you, Talos! Hey, are you in Wow? Miss gaming with you. Hugs, sweetie!

You know I only speak the truth Mr Clean. Duvago Senzoba Equinnox and myself are exploring WoW Classic. I’m doing it for Way even though getting in game was emotionally difficult at the start.
I’m enjoying classic but hating this bug with the looting. I also dislike having to walk everywhere. But the game is decidedly lucky it dropped a pretty dress for me to wear or I would have scarpered by now looking at ugly clothing.
Senzoba thought he saw a toon by the name of Clean in classic on the OTG server and he wondered if it was you.

I haven’t done more than get my main invited to the guild in retail and hugged some of my pets in my garrison. I don’t know where anything is so playing classic to start with is helping me learn the basics from true scratch.
