Wrecked my wrist

Hi all hope I’m posting this in the right place. Long story short, I jacked my wrist with too much keyboard time, ordered to take a total break from gaming for a week, then 2 hours a week, etc etc. Just getting to know everyone but hoping it heals up quick.

I hear you. I have occasional wrist pain and have tried a wrap or brace which helped. Made gaming/typing a little awkward but doable and it was better after a few days (ice pack helped). I think I posted here. Let me look…

Moan away. That is what the forums are for.

I mean, I assume that is what they are for. :man_shrugging:

I have one of those which I used for my right hand when I fractured my radius just below the thumb. As it healed I found a smaller one, of similar design that provided me with good support but gave me more finger mobility without losing the support for my wrist.

Its called: MUELLER Sports Medicine Green Fitted Wrist Brace, Wrist Pain Relief Support for Men and Women, Ideal for Carpal Tunnel, Tendinitis, Arthritis, Black (item color)

You can actually get one at Walmart too and it is about the same price as the same product on Amazon’s site. I actually opted for the reversable one so I could use it for either hand, especially since I sometimes have arthritis flareups on one or the other hand which this brace is really good at supporting.

Thanks for the help guys, got myself a fairly rigid brace and trying it out. I’ve been sending replies thru my email and for some reason they keep bouncing back.

Same thing happened to me a few years back and the brace did the trick, just gotta keep good support on it for a while.

Yeah I’m being very careful to always have it on when I’m on the computer, also drastically cutting back gaming time for right now, sadly
