I rather enjoyed them, but i guess WoT is very expensive.

Disappointing for sure. I was enjoying them both despite the typical grating frustration of the writers deciding they needed to put their own touch on the source material. Matt’s story arc and leaving out the whole Foxes and Snakes encounter was especially irritating. That was one of my favorite parts of the WoT books. The actors in both did a good job of bringing the books to life.

It was a shame that Rafe Judkins insisted on remaking WoT instead of adapting it. Sort of a slap in the face to Jordan’s magnum opus. I’ve a suspicion that’s what drove a lot of fans away.
It was what turned me off of the WoT show. I read all the books twice and I wasn’t keen on their rewrites.
