Our outage here in Dayton was short lived. My brother informed me that 8 or 9 tornadoes hit the area. closest was a venue which use to house the Ham vention, concerts and Hockey games roof is gone. approximately 2 miles from our house. I am fine. Take care folks.

There was one near where my hubby’s folks live, but not close enough to do any damage to them (did a number on the town it hit tho). So far they seem to be weathering it better than they did the last storms that went through, they were under water for part of that.
Hamvention dodged a bullet by a couple of weeks. As a ham, that would have been a great loss to the amateur radio community. I’m glad that more damage was not done during this weather event.
