I’d like to try a session of Shadowdark RPG. Shadowdark is a stripped down version of 5e that emulates old school D&D. Essentially, it removes character ability die rolls to get around challenges and instead places it on the interaction between DM and player. It’s also much more deadly. Character death can be frequent. So be prepared for that. Usually less of an issue for a 1-shot adventure. Combat is fast and less tactical (and to be avoided if possible). XP is 1:1 based on gold recovered. So it rewards “creative” thinking to get the treasure and avoid the fight.
I have both Foundry and Fantasy Grounds. If you are interested, post best day and time that you can game and if you are not able to install and run Fantasy Grounds.
