There has to be a way to have specific windows’ sound come out of specific windows! I can’t be the first person to want that. In fact, I am sure I have seen it somewhere. I run three accounts and I NEED to know which account is talking to me.
I know it is easy to control which window goes to separate sound outputs, but I want it to go to different speakers on the same sound output.
Anyone? Please! I have been looking all over…
is this what you’re looking for? If not, he references 2 apps in the article as well … https://www.howtogeek.com/352787/how-to-set-per-app-sound-outputs-in-windows-10/
Thanks Rev. No luck. All those programs change the audio output but not the speakers.
I think you mean on the same circuit electrically? Not sure how that would work… separate the sounds by frequency? I think you may have to rely on visual aids also, maybe picture in picture or popup…
I was hoping for ability to change the balance for each window. I would just turn the volume up on the left and down on the right speaker for one window, opposite for another and keep the third balanced.
Baring that option, what to others do to separate characters? You mentioned popups and PIP?
So you are triple boxing?
There is a ton of data and tips out there for multiboxing. I myself do not multibox, but a quick search shows many results, IE, multiboxing in WOW: https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/world-of-warcraft/world-of-warcraft-guides/152785-multiboxing-everything-you-need-know-get-started.html

Most play with no sound or just a few like hull alarms. Socializing on comms or watching Netflix are status quo.
Multi clienting is very common among people who stick with eve. I think the average eve player had 3.1 accounts last time I saw the statistic. Bigger/more monitors or they have a program that makes thumbnails of your clients and let’s you switch quickly. Think it’s called EVE-O
Multi boxing is less common and more complicated. Where clients run on different computers.
Input broadcasting is bannable and not encouraged. It requires other programs and is not done accidentally.
