Unfortunately, a lot of the ones that are gotten by vendor need the Polished Pet Charms to buy. Luckily you can share the charms across all of your characters, Horde and Alliance.

Unfortunately, they take a minimum of 200 charms each so it can be a while to gather enough for even 1 pet.

This is where alts come in. The main source of polished pet charms for me is table missions on your ship in Boralus. If you get the bonus, you can land 20-30 for just one mission. The more alts you have, the more you can rack these up. Looks like the hamburger pet food now costs 10 charms for 1 burger. World quests also are an OK source, most of those battles have scripts on XuFu and it is pretty easy to hit one of those up as you do emissaries. Over my alts I think I have generated 2000-3000 of these, the lions share from table missions.

Yeah. That makes sense.

But unfortunately, I only have 1 level 120 alt, and she’s Horde. I am bringing up another alt, actually several, but my current highest level alt being regularly played is only 68.

Oh I have been grinding up many. Now have 10x120, with a 68 priest on the way. Battlepets are a good way to get xp. Once you hit flying you can do a lot of fun stuff with the masters.
