Remnant: from the Ashes is out on Steam and elsewhere. This is a non-persistent multiplayer, third-person-shooter, dungeon crawling game based in a kind of post-apocalyptic-gothic-horror-magical-sci-fi setting. I really like the look of it. I am a little hesitant because it is by Perfect World who tend to overly use micro-transactions. But if you can overlook that, it might be fun!

The Game Play Video:
In a Perfect World we own your wallet. Was the saying back then
I was interested when previews / teasers first came out but I hear it best plays with 3 and is as hard as say a Dark Souls. My old reflexes can’t handle it methinks.
I pre-ordered this the night before the headstart. It is not bad kinda reminds me in ways of The Secret World and Hellgate London with Dark Souls difficulty…at times. It’s not Dark Souls difficulty at every turn, but it is not a walk in the park in between boss fights either. It is definitely designed with co-op in mind over solo playing.
Anybody still playing this? I thought about picking it up but don’t really want to solo it.
