When I still had my two cats, their favorite place during cold weather was on any one of the radiators I had throughout the old house I owned back in Ohio.

Nice.
Our cat goes to the same spot on the carpet, every morning, where the sun hits it through the window. Then, periodically, he moves to reposition himself where the “sun spot” has moved to over time.
He is most depressed on cloudy days
