With the new expansion, The War Within, WoW is expanding on the ability to play with your friends – regardless of what faction or server they’re on – by adding cross-server guilds. With cross-faction guilds previously introduced in Dragonflight, this means you can now join any WoW guild on any faction from any server! (Though some game restrictions remain, such as the requirement to be in an instance to trade cross-faction.)
With these changes, OTG intends to maintain both its original “alliance” and “horde” guilds going forward. Both retail chapters are welcoming to all, but each brings a different atmosphere, so choose the one that best fits you! (Or join both!)
-
Alliance: (Anvilmar) Looking for a fun, social group to game with? Want progression, but no stress? The World of Warcraft Alliance chapter of the Old Timers Guild is the answer. The Alliance chapter is a friendly, helpful guild that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Whether raiding, helping with achievements, or just hanging out, OTG Alliance is a welcoming group of mature players.
-
Horde: (Kul Tiras) The World of Warcraft Horde chapter prides itself in being a welcoming community for folks who want to be a part of a guild, while also maintaining a quieter, more independent atmosphere. Many of its regulars are competitive, clearing AOTC during heroic raid progression and pushing high M+ keystones. So if you want a chill environment to game on your own, or to push progression content with a regular group, this may be the guild for you.
And we cannot forget WoW: Classic and all of it’s variations. While Classic does not allow for cross realm or faction, they have an active horde presence on Mankrik.
- OTG Classic (Horde-Mankrik) takes fun seriously! With weekly raids, fun runs, and regularly scheduled leveling and Heroic events, our only requirement to participate is “Sign Up and Show Up!” Most of us can be found on Horde Mankrik, running towards the bosses!
