… just wanted to check in and say I’ve started transferring my alts to Thrane, so far so good..
I’ve got 2 mule alts (tested first time using them) and 2 mains (Nanook and Lyrxx) safely on Thrane and all appears to be in order. My mains are also guilded as soon as I ‘unpack’. It seems to take some time per transfer (not sure how long but at least an hour or so each) and I’m only sending one alt at a time as per instructions. If things change or go sideways I will update. Thanks again to Spatz, AP, and everyone for the info/instructions on the server move - Hope everyone has a smooth transition, see ya in game/Discord!
With the last update they gave everyone 60 more bank slots. Don’t even have to activate a coupon to get it.
That will be nice. I’ve played on the new Thrane server some. During the day, it’s not too bad, but in the evening, there’s been some rubber-banding doing on. The client seems like it freezes, and then after about 5+ seconds, I’ll stutter backwards some. Hopefully they get that ironed out.
Trust me you do not want to iron rubber bands, it does not end well…
FYI if you are done moving all your real characters and you are looking for something to do, don’t forget you can make a character on all the other 16 bit servers, get your 5 favor (or 100 if you are feeling ambitious), take a gold roll doubled this weekend, and pack, and transfer. Yeah, it was bad tonight (Saturday 7/26) to the point that while in the lower part of TOEE where the giant mushrooms are, I died due to stacks of debuffs while stuck in lag hell. Couldn’t even get a Heal spell off to offset it.

Packing and Unpacking is now restricted to the inside of the Lordsmarch Bank in The Marketplace of Eberron. If you are not focused on packing or unpacking, we strongly recommend performing normal banking activity at one of the other banking locations throughout the game. Attempting to issue the “/transfer pack” or “/transfer unpack” command from outside of the Lordsmarch Bank now returns a messaging telling you how to complete the command.

Your Reincarnation Cache will now be included in packing when using the /transfer pack command rather than needing to be emptied before packing. It is no longer necessary to remove items from your Reincarnation Cache prior to transfer. Adjustments have been made to allow characters with a larger data footprint to make it through the Transfer Wizard.
