I think she might have been hitting the nose candy too hard there near the end
Soulful African music fronted by 3 female horn players/vocalists.
Classy, simple dub. Can’t stop listening to 3 of his releases.
I’m finding it really interesting watching him work.
Holy crap I am loving this album, can’t stop dancing around my house to it. Making it kinda hard to get the cooking done hehe.
Listening to the album now. Nothing less than stellar. It’s fun to hear some Elfman/Boingo influence. It’s something I don’t often hear in new music. Thanks for the heads up.
I’ve never listened to this guy before, but ran across this song and have been enjoying the whole album… which has lots of influences from psychedelic '60s and '70s music - especially Pink Floyd, which you can hear on this tune.
Nightwish Ghost Love Score. Think Metallica mixed withtrans siberian orchestra and with a angel singing

Right here we got an amazing phenomenal prog rock/prog metal rock/metal opera concept album that is one of the best things I have heard all year! This is the kind of music I live for.
Holy crap! I’ve listened to Ray LaMontagne for years (phenomenal voice), and have never ever ever ever ever ever ever thought of Pink Floyd while listening to him.
But for this track, you’re spot on.
P.S. Yeah, yeah, yeah, responding to an old post. But music is timeless!
So this doesn’t really count as “recently discovered,” as I’ve been familiar with the band for years. But I’ve recently gotten more into them, so:
Was driving yesterday, listening to Groove Armada, when Spotify started adding tunes for my listening pleasure. A few pieces really caught my attention and each time the artist was Jon Kennedy.
Reminds me a bit of Shadowfax, maybe a little like Stan Getz. Idk, I found it relaxing and energizing, all at the same time. It’s jazz and not jazz.
