I am hot for this group lately, from Poland and they are fantastic! I’m just starting to get caught up on their backlog over the last 18 years or so.

Suffering from the Bleach Bottle Blues?
“Rosemary” is a touching song written and performed by Kim Churchill about the love story between his grandmother and a guy named George who passed away within 24 hours of each other. Let this video and song remind you that love is all around us and within us. #ShareTheLove
Silent Planet Has probably saved me a couple times from the dangers of believing that this world isn’t worth saving.
Thank god for this band.
I just recently discovered Johari
YouTube recently tossed this into my mix. It’s a warm, smooth, sophisticated and serious mix of
bossa nova, hip hop and Yoruba-based popular and religious music (West Africa) from Brazil. Delectable.
Don’t let the rhythmic oddness of the first song put you off.
The rest is much more smooth and comfortable.
I was just going to put up a song, but I see Ribbit is laying down entire albums, so I said…what da hey.
I think you’ll all dig it. I listen to it at work at least once or twice a week (it’s part of a playlist on Spotify).
Cantoma
Alright I’ll play the ‘post a whole album’ game…and I won’t even put up some 1 hour+ long thing. Something I just came across yesterday even though it is about from about a year and a half ago. I got this one after seeing something about their new upcoming album so I looked into them and this some pretty damn good melodic metal with shades of Dream Theater and Devin Townsend.
Hmmm …. This album appeared in my Spotify playlist, probably after listening to Orbital. And, seeing that I typically play a caster in WoW, I felt it was appropo.
I may not have what it takes to list the entire album, but here goes.
No Mana : Above the Blue
I’m only a few songs in, but omg!
A rediscovered old favorite that i haven’t heard in decades.
Just came across the latest release from this French prog rock/metal outfit that has a HOST of prog rock names filing in on various tracks as well as Damian Wilson of Threshold/Headspace doing lead vocals on the entire album. The album is just stellar with elements of the previous mentioned groups and Rush, Yes, Dream Theater, Spock’s Beard and similar groups.
This song is in the running for longest song title in history.

Little known band out of France, Gotan Project.
This is La Revancha del Tango. My favorite track is, El Capitalismo Foraneo.
I like their non-tango stuff more. They’re pretty big in the downtempo world.
Yeah. I first heard them on Soma.FM’s Groove Salad.
Gotan Project is one of my faves.
Another band that is a great background band is Shadowfax. Wasn’t able to get a link for the entire album.
I’ve been listening to them since their first album, but that’s the only one i have. Thanks for sharing this one.

I can’t stop listening to this song.
I find the oiled up belly to be a bit much.
