The writer brings up the pros and cons of grouping tools in MMOs. This isn’t a feature that often is available when a game is first released. Is this something we as a community are starting to expect? Is it a good thing? I will take the convenience of a LFG tool over the lack of immersion any day.
I like LFG tool since I typically am behind in dungeon content. Even so they aren’t flawless as people don’t always queue for old content. This sucks when a dungeon is forced for story, a’la WoW.
For this reason I’m excited for FFXIV’s upcoming Trust System… you csn run dungeons with NPCs.
