I was running DARPA last night for the weekly mission, and once the mission completed I was rewarded with the new unique Kard pistol. The cool thing about this pistil is it s inherit attribute +1 Skill.
So even holstered you get the +Skill point, which can allow you to swap out a piece of gear and maintain skill level 6. Or have non skill builds have at least +1 skill versus zero.
