First, what makes you think we’re organized? It is impossible to run a community of this size without many, many, many (a lot) of people to do the work and keep us organized. Here, we’ll discuss the ranks within OTG and how they are colored and abbreviated. Should you need a concern or complaint addressed, please follow the Chain of Command.
Red: Administrators hold the big picture pieces of OTG together, whether that be as LLC members (see reply below), overseeing Chapter Leaders, or other service areas such as Discourse (forums) & Discord maintenance, membership and support. A full list, including descriptions of their duties, can be found in our About Old Timers Guild section. Their titles describe their duties.
Green: Moderators enforce policy on OTG media, review reported posts to address all that nasty spam that we (hopefully) never even notice, and help with Discourse & Discord user administration. A list of Moderators can be found in the moderators group. To learn more about groups, see the link below!
Orange: Chapter Leaders and eXecutive Officers (CL and XO) are the faces of leadership most members see. The CL is responsible for the day-to-day management of individual chapters, while their XO is the second in command, there to assist and act as CL should the need arise. I hear XO may also stand for XtraOld (unverified).
Yellow: Chapter Officers/Staff (CO) facilitate the day-to-day running of the chapter. They are usually your first level of contact for any issues you have. To see a list of CLs, XOs and COs for a particular chapter, check out their groups.
Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) are members with additional responsibilities, primarily recruiting and in-game invitations to guilds. Their teal color shown here is used only on Discord.
Members are the bread and butter of the community. None of this works without you. You are what make the OTG Community such a great place to call home.
