I am here to say. This game has all the classic Everquest Vibes without all the icky PITA features of Old Everquest.
Let me explain.
I woke up this morning jazzed to play. Started a D1 group in Crushbone. Next time I looked up it was past noon.
I am not joking. Four hours just evaporated. We cleared castle dozens of times.
No hours of sitting in LFG trying to get a group.
No corpse runs.
No bloat LDON trash BS to run by otw there. (did a dwarf Pally/Druid to start) dinged 10 and added shaman then my stomach grumbled, That’s when I realized I had not eaten.
If Daybreak does not add a bunch of BS predatory monetization, This could be my rediscovery of the world of Everquest and all the iconic content I was never able to do on live because it was too much of a PITA.
