Looking to start a once a week static group. I have Sunday-Wednesday Day/Evening in US East Coast time available. If interested post a day and time and we can start there.
Unless this group fills up, this will not be the usual static group, i.e. the same people playing each week. What I expect to happen, is that a core group (currently myself and Schplam), will gather once a week at the start time and advertise open spots. I’ll try to keep this post title updated with the coming weeks level range based on core group members.
First Session will be 28 Oct. We plan to start in Underdocks. First up will be initial class quests, then armor quests while grinding to get levels for the second level of class quests (seem to be around lvl 10).
Are referring to a different starting area in the underdark region or a possible different starting area in the general gameworld?
It we’re sticking to the underdark region then I would say start in the Underdocks, better rewards for the starting class quests in general and better area quests. In addition to the turtle shield quest you mentioned @Jendai there’s a quest to get a good ranged weapon and another quest to turn in mining picks collected from bandits and each turn in you get a random piece of patched rawhide armor or patched cloth armor.
I may not be able to help with the static group in group but I can make cloth pouches and satchels! 16 cloth scraps per pouch and 36 cloth scraps per satchel. Bambi has or can make rawhide backpacks. Inventory is the game!
I guess I was making the assumption that players would prefer starting area to equal home city in order to avoid kos issues. Starting home city would limit race/class combo. So I was open to changing the start area to accommodate desired race/class combo’s. But it appears our group seems ok traveling to start area? We will keep it Underdocks if it doesn’t matter.

I would like to take the Tank position that’s been thrown around with my Lvl 5 Ogre Fighter. I don’t know if he would be KOS in underdocks or not, I’ll move him there tomorrow, IF I can find it.
Rhazaghuil would be open to jumping in on Wednesday evening groups. I will roll up an Underdocks toon just in case y’all have spots open. Been dealing with my wife being in the hospital so I have missed all this activity over the last few days, lol. Home now, so I can refocus on mind numbing fun stuff again, lol. Any particular class needed or foreseen as being needed. I will try anything.
According to the information I found, good XP, for under level 15, is for group members to be within 5 levels of the highest member. So I set the first session for anyone levels 1 through 5. The intent is that anyone of lower level won’t feel like they are “just along for the ride” and getting power leveled.
As looking forward to this as I was, I’m going to need to step back and let @Rhazaghul take first position. Turns out my schedule was clear on Wednesday’s however on closer look my wife’s was not. she has a by weekly wed night I need to take her to right in the middle of this game time.
