That’s good to hear.

Regardless, I think it’s time to start theory crafting a backup character…

oddly enough, Kob has a twin brother that looks EXACTLY like him.

Ugh got roped into designated driver duty. May be a bit late tonight.

Last night was a lot of fun! I really thought that Basilist fight was going to be a tough one for us. I also thought the fight with Lurok was going to be tough but he ended up being a push over and Emilie finally got to use her diplomacy skill a bit with the kobolds.

I kind of felt bad that we weren’t able to save Nurala but I went back after the session and watched the official Paizo pod/video cast and they weren’t able to save her either.

Looking ahead to level 4, I’m planning to take Divine Evolution for my class feat which will give me an extra highest level casting of heal or harm. I’ll also take Dispel Magic, which I don’t think would’ve helped against the Basilisk but should still be useful for a number of situations.

Also thinking about retraining out of my Adapted Cantrip feat and taking Natural Ambition → Reach Spell instead for giving range to Chill Touch, Undeath’s Blessing, and later on Vampiric Touch. Electric Arc is amazing but its not really thematically fitting my character and Daze would’ve been actually really nice to have had against Lurok for interrogation after combat - although Daze’s damage scaling makes me sad.

Also, about speaking with the dead. The only spell I know of that can do that is Talking Corpse which is one of Emilie’s bloodline spells. It’s a 4th level spell so we’ll be waiting a little while longer to get it.

So, reviewing what we know for a moment…

  1. There’s a pack of hell hounds roaming the Otari hinterlands.
  2. Sometimes these hellhounds are accompanied by a humanoid (the named hobgoblin npc).
  3. They seemed to be determined to burn down farms and bridges and generally make life miserable.

So I’m trying to figure out what all of this means. Have we discovered any religious symbols or anything like that? Maybe we’re dealing with Cheliaxian Asmodeans?

But then where does this named Dwarf NPC and his panther fit in? Maybe there really is something illicit in our merchandise?

I think we should inspect the goods that we’re ā€œdeliveringā€ and if there’s anything in there remotely suspicious we should go back to that Merchant in Town and give her the Spanish Inquisition.

I miss my draconic sorcerer from Age of Ashes.

I miss my <insert name of character Rando killed here>…… (sigh)

I miss…

  • My warped sense of humor
  • My Champion dice
  • Dwarves!!!

Mith

I miss my Kobold Sorcerer who had big dreams about being a dragon, but died of a sort when I wasn’t even there.

NOT-WILSON I’M SOOOOOOOORRRRYYYYYYYYY!!!

I don’t miss my Dragonkin Vanguard because despite trying to cut off my head Rando only managed to cut off my hand so far. :smirk:

You don’t want me replying with what I miss.

Well now that you said that I kinds do :smirk:

So your saying Rando shouldn’t go into the circumcision business then?

snicker

If he was trying to circumcise a huge or bigger creature i would say maybe…anything smaller than that…no

:smirk:

We miiiiight ding level 5 tonight? Unlikely; but possible.

Challenge accepted.

So um…

Should I post in the obituaries thread?

/hide

Well, I guess at least I can cross another build off my list of things of things to try…

Thinking ahead, it might be fun to try a rogue - something I haven’t played since Age of Ashes. Anyway, depends on what everyone else is thinking about  .

So do you just need the price for a single person or a group rate?

/whistle
