Looks like they had a test last December but I missed it for some reason. They haven’t announced the next test date but now I’m paying attention on their website…as far as I pay attention to…squirrel!
I played in some early testing, waiting for the next round of testing to start!
That’s a positive sign that you want to go back! 
Testing starts tomorrow (Friday) at noon PDT and lasting until Sunday at 5pm (I think…Sunday evening anyway). You can still sign up to test on Steam.
edit: if you test, make sure you gather the green smoke (R key) that comes from some of the corpses of the rats, snakes and bats you’ll be fighting early on. Yes, it’s traditional old-mmorpg-y style.
