I want to mention that I just finished a book by Galadrielle Allman and it was an excellently put together story of Duane and Gregg from before they were born to when Duane passed away. Galadrielle was two when her father died and had convince herself as an adult that she had the right to ask the questions necessary to learn about her father. Her father was someone that everyone else knew and loved yet she didn’t know this person. It is a poignant and well written story about a daughter getting to know her father after he had passed away. It is an excellent retrospective about Duane and Gregg and what they went through to become known in the industry leading to the creation of the Allman Brothers Band.
