Barring any unforseen hiccups it looks like we’re going to go with Rivervale for our server during beta. We have the option of changing it once the beta is over and the wipe happens. Be there or be square!

Has Rivervale been locked or something? I have not been able to log on there as yet. I get a message saying it is unavailable for something similar, don’t remember the exact wording.
Not that i know of. However there is a bug that makes it hard to log in. This is what worked for me:
Open your EverQuest installation folder.Find the configuration settings for your character (e.g., CharacterName_ServerName.ini).Delete or move that .ini file to clear corrupted UI data and try logging back in.
Also deleting eqclient.ini can do the trick. When I start having those problems I delete both. Hope it works for you!
