This means the existing worlds will be wiped, new worlds will be added and we’ll all be testing the Phase 3 version of Alpha II. The Summoner will be fully in-game, sport fishing in the deep sea is in it’s very early stages and there’s a lot more world out there than there was a year ago.
The other BIG news is that they are giving Early Access to the Alpha via Steam as well! For those of you that are not currently backers and would like to join in on helping develop this title, you will be able to get a Phase 3 access account from Steam! Full price is set at $49.99 but there’s a discount running for the first few weeks of December so it’s closer to $40. That not only gets you into testing now, it also gives you the game after release and at least a month of sub at that point.
AoC is still very much in an Alpha state, things are being changed (often) to test balance, effectiveness, leveling speed, etc and this is by no means a finished game at this point. The content that is in there is quite fun and can keep one busy for a long time (if you’re doing everything, including crafting). It is no where near what the Beta level of Release level content will be like of course.
We will get an OTG guild going just as soon as I can level up to level 10 (again) to start it! I hope to see you there!

I just joined but i have been playing the ashes of creation beta since the beginning of alpha 2 and am having trouble finding a guild to play with. I saw an advertisement for your guild in the game so that’s why i am here. My character’s name is Steelheart a lvl 15 fighter who is literally about to ding 16. I am a cititzen of winstead but have a lot of stuff in my Joeva storage at the moment. I am an apprentice metalworking apprentice weaponsmith and have leveled up both lumberjacking and mining to respectivily 10 and 25. I dont have a journeyman pickaxe yet but am saving up to get one.
