Heya guys, I am sorry but I must postpone the start of the game by one week. I was informed last night by telephone that there was a death in my close family. I will be out of town this week Thursday through Saturday or Sunday for the funeral and to gather with the family. Again, sorry I have to postpone but this is pretty much worst case scenario. I have updated the campaign date to Saturday, March 25th at 8pm est. Stick it out with me for another week and then we will start the game and I will make sure you are all good to go before then.
Sorry to hear that you lost another family member, it seems it’s been a rough few years.
No worries on the delay, I doubt I will be available on the 25th. I will be chaperoning my sons band trip to Hawaii starting that day. If for some reason I can figure out the timezone changes and have some free time I might pop in, but no promises.

Heya all, my apologies in advance for doing this again, but I have to put the start of the campaign back a a bit again. Life is throwing too much stuff at me right now and I’m struggling to deal with it all. The death in the family recently was my aunt, my mom’s only sister. My aunt was the last of my mom’s family living in the same are upstate as her, so she has decided to move downstate to be closer to me and her grandkids (not mine, my late brother’s kids), I’m going to be helping her with that, taking time off work to go upstate on and off over the next couple weeks. Also, my eldest dog has reached the end of his journey in life and I have to schedule a final day for him when I will have him euthanized at home. that is going to wreck me up emotionally and mentally for a little bit. Probably doing it Tuesday or maybe Thursday depending on how my schedule works out.
I would not be able to commit the energy and effort needed to start the game off well for you all at this moment. I have also just been a bit too preoccupied with stuff to get my last bit of prep done and make sure you are all set up and good to go. So again I apologize, I am going to set the start time for the game to April 8th, the first week of April. We will start in April barring the end of the world or something equally unforeseen and catastrophic. I will be getting with you all in the next couple weeks to finalize your backstories and such and I will post a lead in to the adventure next week to set the stage for which town your group starts in.
Hang tight everybody and we’ll get this going I promise.
Also, thank you all for your patience and well wishes so far, it means a lot to me and when we start in April I will bring my best DM game face for you.
I was out this saturday anyway, so the delay wouldn’t hurt my feelings even if you didnt have a good reason.
As always RL comes first, we are all old if not mature, so we know how things go. That and having gamed with you in the past it does always seem that things hit you all at the same time for better or worse. 
Good luck with your eldest, I still recall vividly the last time I had to do the same, and its been at least 5 years. The hurt lasts, even though we know it is for the best.
oh and to not be totally out of character I penned up 5 other versions of Leila just in case i decided to let the ~inar War cleric be the main tank. LOL

Would you be interested in a 1 shot session while we wait for @Ryuken to hopefully get back to a normalized life? I’ve got two ideas.
An AL adventure which could act as a prologue to this campaign. We would use your already built characters. Any gold/XP/items would be “lost” before the campaign start, unless approved for use by our DM before the actual campaign start.
A completely unrelated adventure using different 1st level characters.
Please respond over in Discord if you are interested, and what Saturdays you are available, i.e. 25th and/or 1st.
I see the @Ryuken already has Avrae Bot installed on his discord, so we would use that for dice rolls. Player sheets would be whatever you prefer. Any maps and tokens required, would be done via web browser, connected to my Foundry VTT server.

I am going to have to back out Ryu, work is too much. I am currently working 6 days a week for the job, and towards summer there is a good chance it will be 7 days a week for a while.
Sorry to hear that @knightemplar I know all too well how the work schedule can overwhelm one and cut into one’s hobbies and entertainment. Hope to see you in a future game I run.

Heya all, I have set the start date to April 15th at 8pm EST. I set the date to coincide with the start of the Thursday group, which will be starting that week. I will get with you all in the next week or so to leading up to game start to make sure everyone is good to go. I will also remind everyone of game start a day or two before.
there is a strong possibility that i will not make game on the 15th. Originally I thought I would be at my moms that weekend and would probably be able to make it. But now she has changed from having me fix up the house to moving again. I will know for sure tuesday but it is likely i might be on the road saturday night driving from wy to va. That being said it is possible I am hold up in a hotel by the time game hits in which case i might still be able to make it.
Alright I’ll keep in touch with you and see where we are at next week before the 15th.
I have to ask. If the alternative to fixing the house was moving to another house, what kind of damage did it have!!!
