Came here to ask about this. I’ll be playing, so even an informal guild may be great for doing stuff like swapping blueprints, etc. If we CAN muster up a guild after launch that would be great. I guess we have to see what kind of limitations may arise from faction choices etc. I’m Threemoons on Steam. EDIT I got the head start option so hit me up if you’ll be there also!

I will join Discord dune voice channel at 9am EDT on Launch day to coordinate with others interested. Early launch is at 10am EDT. Guild limit is 32 so we should be fine there however all members must be the same faction and on the same “world”. The same Sietch is favorable but not required. Personally the Wife and I are open to any faction so we will go with the guild. Faction is not chosen at start, but requires quests to complete several hours into the game.

Thursday happens to be the one day a week I can’t take the whole day off so I will be on around 1pm est or so on Thursday.

I would recommend “The Spiral” just like most of our bodies as we get to this advanced age.

Thanks !! I ended up in Bambi’s Sietch . I have only just started to play a little so far due to everything else I have going on in RW. Mostly I’m a casual player I tend to get left behind because I don’t care to rush through things. This seems to be a very interesting game and I hope to enjoy it for a long time.
Just tagging the thread to see what happens. Been forever and day since I dipped into this scene (New World was um.. it was) but I do like Dune and its scene, so maybe? Need to see what this becomes or if it will be lasting. If nothing else, needed to know the server and the characters who will be involved. Do need to agree with the notations earlier on in the thread however - Not a scene that OTG normally does well in as the PvP aspect really does induce the worst aspects of some people out there.

And so far, the PvP hasn’t been an issue. With the way things are set up, there’s very little room for targeted griefing, so that helps a bit.
Game’s pretty brutal in its survival element (certain mechanics will make you lose everything on you), but doable for the most part.
Is anyone playing Dune ? I really don’t see any posts on it … Has anyone figured how to get the knife we should have gotten for early access ? Who thought it was a good idea to do maintenance on a Friday night should be fired !!! Ok I’m done…
The maintenance was because everything was fucked. And yes, come to Discord, we have channels there. And there are about 70 or so people in our guilds right now.
Did something happen to the Dune Discord channels? I was in one of them this morning, and then I wasn’t, and neither one of them was in the list.
Nevermind…the channel reappeared shortly after I posted this. The invite channel is gone, though.
Is there a way to get an invite?
Check if you haven’t collapsed or muted channels. If you collapsed the category you won’t see channels that don’t have unread messages.
Scroll up. And you probably have collapsed the GG category. It should have a little arrow down, not a little arrow sideways.
