Recruit a friend question

I’m not clear on what name to send the RAF link to. ie: From inside the game , WoW, do I simply send a link to their characters name? Or to their Battle.net (name) tag instead? ie: if someone was adding me as a friend would they use “Cette” my in game character’s name or valhalla#1240 my B.net tag?

You’ll get an invite link. You can send that to your friend (or yourself) any way. Doesn’t matter. It’ll take them to a webpage and walk them through it.

Thanks , I’ll take a look at the social tool in game. I’ll have them try my characters in-game name not my battle net tag ID.
