Let’s go ahead and say this coming Sunday is session neg-one. Nothing has been fixed on the line but it’s been pretty good all week. If it does go it’ll be poopie though.

Come come now our sessions are not that bad, I think we all have a good time each evening even if the dice aren’t rolling our way. I mean, hey, I lost my hand and I keep coming back for more eh? 😏
Consider the difference in that the Society play sessions run smoother in the sense that there is less roleplaying to speed things up and a lot less small talk and things like that which give our games more of a feeling of a group of people who know each other well enough sitting down to do some ttrpg’ing as opposed to a group of strangers meeting and trying to run something within a certain time limit, it feels much less informal. The informal element of our sessions is something I look forward to because of the comradery and the “hanging out” feeling. Also, you start to see some of the same maps reused across even different scenarios in the Society play sessions, and that’s not counting the replayable sessions.

So this is interesting, played a SFS game last night and they used Google Meetings for voice and I have to say it was much better quality than Discord, no one was using push-to-talk and there was virtually no background noise or anything. I am sore tempted to use that for voice when I run Dead Suns.

I’ve never played SFS, but there’s a YouTube series of recorded game sessions sort of like Critical Role where they’ve been playing SFS scenarios from the year of Scoured Stars. They do a ton of RP. I suppose it is mainly just playing to the audience though. Their envoy is hilarious.

Well truthfully, I’m not really concerned with who is playing what class. I think at least at the start you could have all 6 people play the same class and as long as the different roles on the ship are covered we would be good. That’s one of the reasons like I said earlier I’m not publishing what Jason’s class is since I think it is irrelevant at this point, we just need to know what roles he can cover on the ship. We are after all being picked and hired by a paper pusher with no actual freighter experience themselves who just wants to get this problem ship up and running so he gets the EVP off his back.
After all once we are signed up, hired and given our instructions on the ship The EVP 's expectations become our problem.

Well you loafers and scrubs can all go through your “career” with the EJ Corp not knowing what you’re gonna be, what you’re gonna do etc etc but Maelchi Von Tennjic knows exactly what he is (badass sneaky operative) and knows exactly what he’s gonna do on the ship (pretty much anything, especially anything he is better at than anybody else which could be everything 😏)

Ahh, now I know why I was hired on to this ship as the Sanitary engineer. With such a skilled Dromada on the crew, there was definitely going to have to be someone who is willing to clean up after his myriad of messes.
Walks off looking for the Sanitary Engineering console (with a “Cleaning up after Dromada for Dummies (Advanced)” tucked under his arm).

I believe that this qualified as firing first. I just took what you said and headed to get the proper utensils to clean up anything that happens to come out of said “_ass_”.
Checks his dummies book to see what the proper pooper scooper is for a Dromada???

Nods., your right, the scooper is the wrong thing in this case. What I’m going to need is an Industrial-sized Wet Dry Vac with hermetically sealed disposal chamber. That was referenced in the appendix under operative subheading Dromada. thankfully we haven’t left port yet and I can put in a requisition for it toot sweet.
