Big sigh
I’m now stuck in the seemingly eternal AMD error 1603 loop where drivers won’t install and nothing you do seems to resolve the issue. Windows let me down by telling my restore points were being created when, in fact, they weren’t. So, now, maybe I’ll get back into some game soon or maybe not…
Give this a bash its worked for me every time I’ve needed it, run it in Safe mode and it will totally remove all the little bits of video drivers a failed install leaves behind

Thanks, I tried that, exactly the same error message. Probably something in windows interfering with it. Reinstalling the OS is the only thing I haven’t tried. Funny thing is though, after a reboot, everything seems to be working in spite of the error message. I can’t tell what the actual problem was because it didn’t create a log file like it’s supposed to and that 1603 error is what they laughingly call a ‘general error’ - in other words, they don’t know what went wrong either…
